JC Rueshaw 75 was the two time Grand Champion Bull at Houston Livestock Show. He had the highest marbling scores and largest ribeye of any (Black or Red!) Wagyu at the show. He recently sold for at least $250,000.
Dual registered: AWA FB14989, AAA EAF14989
Rowe Ms. Umemaru 15G is dual registered FB49964, EAF49964 She is one of those cows your hope for in breeding. She is out of one of the outstanding bulls in the breed, WSI Umemaru. One of the leaders in Akaushi breeding said when told that Umemaru’s semen is now $4000 a straw or more, “he’s worth every penny.”
15G is a tall, long, beautiful animal. She came from our best dam, Rowe Ms Red Star, who is a result of the mating of Kalanga Red Star with the notable 803 cow (Shigemaru X JVP Ms Homare Hikari). Both are beautiful examples of Akaushi females and prolific embryo producers. Rowe Ms Red Star is a full sister to Red Galaxy.

Legendary 2102F (AAA registered AF218823) was sired by HB Samsung. Samsung is one of the longest serving studs at Heartbrand. He has sure feet, impressive fertility, and his calves are retained at a higher percentage than almost any other Heartbrand bull. His dam is Haruko who was one of the original import animals. 2102's dam was created by crossing Big Al to Fuyuko, another original import female. We regard it as a treasure that we got to use this animal with genetics from many original foundation animals. The original six bulls are renowned, but the treasure today is in the original females.
Tamamaru is dual registered (FB2125, AAA AF109) and is one of the most widely used and predictable foundation Akaushi bulls because of his consistency and because of his legendary mother, Dai 8 Marunami. This is the foundation sire that can add length of body and stoutness of structure. His sire, Dai 5 Tamanami Tokkyu 96 provides a slight outcross to the rest of the 1994 importation. Tamamaru is a paternal sibling to the foundation cow Dai 9 Kobai 73
LAG 2194F is AAA registered (AF154239) We were thrilled to acquire some embryos out of this cow. Why? Because she has Dai 8 Marunami as the dam of both sire and her dam. Brother/sister combinations lock up genetics and Dai 8 is one whose genetics one would like to lock up. Then you look at the sires of both sides. On the top side you have Hikari and on the bottom Big Al. Two of my favorites as both are out of Dai 10 Mitsumaru/Namimaru. We expect this cow to produce some of the finest progeny around.
Heartbrand Big Al is dual registered. (AWA FB2998,) (AAA AF114) He considered by many Akaushi breeders to be one of the premier foundation Akaushi bulls and he is renowned for his 200 day, 400 day, 600 day, mature weight, and carcass weights as being the only foundation Akaushi bull to be found in the top 30 in all growth categories according to the Australian Wagyu Association EBV's. Furthermore, Heartbrand Big Al has produced some of the best heifers in the breed which display excellent maternal characteristics and milking ability. Big Al is known as the first Akaushi born in America although he was conceived in Japan.

32E is dual registered. (AWA FB32364) (AAA EAF 32364) Her sire is Rueshamaru who was produced by Wagyu Sekai and owned by JMK Cattle. Rueshamaru was sired by Japanese national champion Rueshaw. His maternal side was the product of foundation sire Tamamaru with the outstanding female Kaedemaru. Rueshamaru is a quality animal and produces some beautiful cattle. We crossed him with our best female, Rowe Ms Red Star 03 to create Rueshamarus Honey. Ms Red Star is a double cross of Hikari and Shigemaru and includes the Homare blood. Rueshamarus Honey has developed into a beautiful, light red cow that has produced two calves by the time she turned three. Quality genetics in this one. Tested genetic carrier free.
Red Galaxy FB12909 AAA EAF133036.
Both parents in this mating are dual registered
This mating unites a 2016 “Champion of the World” qualifier with a great Akaushi female. Red Galaxy was used to add muscle, volume and milking ability. He was also used because he is an outstanding Akaushi bull that we thought would be a great sire to make sexed heifer embryos.
.
Ms 7000 (FB60862 AAA EAF263160) was acquired from Buck Mountain Ranch. Her sire is a Tamamaru son bred to a Red Star x Gabni Rubi daughter. Her dam was sired by Big Al to a Rueshaw/Hikari daughter. With these outstanding ancestors it’s no wonder she is one beautiful heifer and will make some beautiful heifer calves with this mating. You have five of the six original bulls in the five generation pedigree and go back one more and you have all six. You have the ability to register the progeny in the AWA and the AAA. This combination checks a lot of boxes
Judo Ichiro Y020 (FB13429 and EAF20691) is a son of Judo. Judo was one of the four original import bulls. Judo Ichiro’s dam was sired by Umemaru bred to a Judo daughter. He was the Grand Champion bull at the National Western Stock Sale and the Houston Livestock show. The following description comes from his original owner, Kings High Ranch. “This bull has frame size and weight gains of 3.3 lbs/day on grass. He produces low birthweight calves with a gentle nature. All of his calves show his superior qualities. He has been used in several crossbreeding programs, and the results are always superior carcass traits with excellent marbling.”

Umemaru has achieved a unique status. The original foundation animals are traditionally regarded as the best and the next generations are considered lesser. Umemaru’s semen is worth more than most of the original foundation bulls if it can be found. With Umemaru there is a combination of a Dai 10 son, Hikari, joined with a Dai 10 daughter, Kaedemaru. What Umemaru brings to the genetic pool is great growth, out of his sire Hikari (a trait leader in 200, 400, and 600 day weights) and outstanding physical attributes. Kaedemaru is regarded as one of the best dams in the breed. We were fortunate to obtain some of his semen and are now passing the luck on to whoever buys these embryos. Umemaru is a F11 carrier. He is dual registered FB9979, EAF97014.
ROWE Ms Red Star is dual registered (AWA FB18017, AAA EAF120313) She is a star on our ranch. She is one big, beautiful animal. Her steer offspring provided us with prime + beef recently. She has also flushed close to two hundred embryos and we have kept three of her daughters. Here at ROWE Wagyu she is the Alpha female. This mating should produce some really nice animals and good carcasses. Rowe Ms Red Star is genetic carrier free.
